These are easy to replace. Remove central metal slide by screws from above. This releases hatch which can then pivot over hinge. The metal slide is moved up or down until it can slip over the end the of winder mechanism.

Warning - Many people select the first lid that looks similar - and get it wrong. Check all styles, especially where your lid has been lost and you only have the base to identify it from. Take particular notice of the hinge style as we sell at least 5 different styles.
